Staples Solutions Magazine
My role: Creative Designer
The old version of the magazine was focussed on hard-sell. In this new version we’ve changed the tone of voice in line with the new Staples brand identity – conversational, witty, insightful, tongue in cheek. We want our customers to engage with the brand off and online, so we used more call to actions to go online. We’re letting our experts do the talking – insights, interviews, real people, real business. Showing the best solutions with the right products.

Book - Personal Interpretation
My role: Concept, Design, Illustrations and Bookbinding
Assignment: A homage to dutch/belgium literature / a celebration of the medium "book".
Create a new book based on your own interpreation of a dutch/belgium literature book.
Based on the book: Stefan Brijs - De engelenmaker (the angelmaker)
About the book: De engelenmaker is a psychological novel about creating life, with a very dark present and past.
My interpretation / concept:
New name book: De gedachten van een gek, The thoughts of a insane person
An analysis about the book and myself, by using the rorschach method and visualizing my thought and feelings through inkblot tests and notes.
Conclusion: My interest for this book match very well with the dark and pychological theme of the story.
